When embarking on a new project, you have three primary options to consider: iOS, Web2App, or Web2App + iOS. Choose iOS if you intend to create onboarding experiences exclusively for iOS devices. Opt for Web2App if you require a web-based onboarding solution. If you wish to develop both types of onboarding, select the Web2App + iOS option. Each choice will shape the interface and available integrations of your platform.

1. What are the differences between iOS, and Web2App projects?

Web2App Project

  • Best for: Hybrid projects that convert a web experience into a mobile app (e.g. webview-based apps).

  • UI Adaptations:

    • A mix of web and mobile tools.

    • Available integrations: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Meta Pixel, GTM, Yandex Metrica, Stripe (for payments).

    • SDK Flexibility:

      • Uses a lightweight SDK that bridges web and mobile features.

      • Doesn't require full native iOS SDK.

iOS Project

  1. Best for: Native iOS mobile apps.

  2. UI Adaptations:

    1. The platform will show only iOS-relevant tools.

    2. Available integrations: AppsFlyer (for mobile attribution), App Store Connect (for publishing), and Amplitude (for analytics).

No web-specific trackers (like Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).

2. How does the platform UI change based on the project type?

  1. The displayed analytics list will adjust to match the platform of your project.
